The work
What you would actually be doing.
Every SimCorp programme has a technical spine, and this is it. You write the SDC, model the data, build the interfaces upstream and downstream and automate the parts that are still being done by hand. You will work on modern investment platforms at real scale, with access to the whole estate rather than one component.
On a typical engagement
- Develop and extend SDC, DMA and data model logic
- Build interfaces to custodians, market data, accounting and reporting systems
- Automate loads, batch cycles and releases
- Debug the things that only break in the client environment
- Pair with client engineers so they can run it after you leave
What you bring
- SDC, DMA, SQL and SimCorp data model experience
- Interface and integration build against real upstream and downstream systems
- Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, CI tooling)
- Ability to read a functional spec and argue with it
- Cloud or DevOps exposure welcome
