The work
What you would actually be doing.
You sit between the investment operations floor and the platform. Workshops in the morning, design decisions in the afternoon, and a configured, tested answer in the client environment by the end of the sprint. These are the programmes an asset manager has bet its operating model on, so the work is visible and the decisions are yours to shape.
On a typical engagement
- Run design workshops with operations, front office and finance, then own the specification
- Configure Dimension or SimCorp One and prove it with real client data
- Solve the awkward cases: complex instruments, new fund structures, corporate actions, fees
- Work with the client testers through UAT, defect triage and go live
- Leave documentation and knowledge behind, not dependency
What you bring
- Hands-on SimCorp configuration or workflow design experience
- Depth in one area: ABOR, IBOR, performance, fees, collateral or front office
- Confidence in a room of senior client stakeholders
- Written English good enough to hand a spec to a developer
- Migration or upgrade experience welcome, not essential
