The work
What you would actually be doing.
Performance is the most argued about output in an investment firm. You configure it so the numbers reconcile, the attribution explains itself and reporting comes out of the platform rather than a spreadsheet nobody owns.
On a typical engagement
- Configure performance measurement, attribution and benchmark structures
- Set up composites, GIPS aligned processes and client reporting inputs
- Design risk and exposure reporting with the risk team
- Investigate and explain differences until they are closed, not tolerated
- Automate the monthly and quarterly cycle
What you bring
- SimCorp performance module experience
- Attribution, benchmark and composite knowledge
- Strong data and reconciliation instincts
- GIPS or regulatory reporting exposure is a plus
- Able to present numbers to an investment committee
