The work
What you would actually be doing.
Investment platforms live or die on their edges. You build and harden those edges, with the file formats, APIs, message flows and error handling that keep a live operation running at 7am.
On a typical engagement
- Build and maintain custodian, market data and bank interfaces
- Design error handling, monitoring and reconciliation for every feed
- Move file based integrations onto APIs and streaming where it makes sense
- Support cutover and dual running periods
- Document flows so support can own them
What you bring
- Integration development experience on an investment platform
- SQL plus one scripting or programming language
- SWIFT, FIX, ISO 20022 or market data feed knowledge
- Calm approach to production incidents
- SimCorp experience preferred, other platforms considered
