The work
What you would actually be doing.
Reporting is the shop window of an investment firm. You build the data layer and the reports on top of it, so the client stops assembling numbers by hand and starts trusting the platform.
On a typical engagement
- Model the reporting data layer from platform data
- Build client, board and regulatory reports and dashboards
- Automate distribution cycles and quality checks
- Work with BI tooling and data warehouses around the platform
- Retire the spreadsheets, one by one
What you bring
- SimCorp data model and reporting experience
- SQL plus a BI or reporting tool
- Understanding of investment data: positions, transactions, performance
- Regulatory reporting exposure welcome
- Eye for how a number reads to a client
