The work
What you would actually be doing.
Test leadership on a platform programme is a senior, visible role. You decide what good looks like, get the client team testing properly, automate the regression pack and keep the defect picture honest when the date gets close.
On a typical engagement
- Write and own the test strategy across functional, data and integration testing
- Build a regression pack and automate the repeatable parts
- Run UAT with client business users and keep them engaged
- Chair defect triage and report status people believe
- Sign off readiness for cutover
What you bring
- Test leadership on a financial platform programme
- Functional and data testing depth, plus automation awareness
- Ability to say not ready and make it stick
- SimCorp, CRD, Aladdin, Calypso or Finastra exposure
- ISTQB or similar welcome, not required
