The work
What you would actually be doing.
Migrations are the most demanding and most rewarded work in this market. You plan the lift, prove the data, run in parallel, close the differences and take the client through a cutover with a fixed date and a board watching. Do this well and you can write your own ticket for the next decade.
On a typical engagement
- Own migration scope, sequencing and data mapping
- Lift and reconcile positions, transactions, accounting and static data
- Design and run parallel running cycles with the client team
- Plan and rehearse cutover, then support the first live close
- Track and close every difference with an audit trail
What you bring
- Prior platform migration or major upgrade delivery
- Data reconciliation depth and total stubbornness about differences
- SimCorp Dimension and ideally SimCorp One experience
- Cutover planning and go live support
- Calm under a fixed date
