The work
What you would actually be doing.
Good analysts are the reason platform programmes land. You map the real process, not the one in the procedure document, then write requirements a configurator and a tester can both use.
On a typical engagement
- Map current process and data across operations, front office and finance
- Write requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Design the target workflow with the platform consultants
- Support testing and business readiness
- Train the client team on what changes
What you bring
- Business analysis on investment operations or trading processes
- One platform in depth: SimCorp, CRD, Aladdin, Calypso or Finastra
- Excellent written requirements
- Stakeholder management across business and technology
- Data analysis skills (SQL or Excel at a serious level)
