What you would actually be doing.
Run work is not a dead end here. You keep a live platform healthy, then remove the reasons it needed you: automation, monitoring, documentation and permanent fixes.
On a typical engagement
- Own second and third line support on a live platform
- Investigate and fix root causes, not just tickets
- Automate the recurring manual work
- Improve monitoring and runbooks
- Support releases, upgrades and month end cycles
What you bring
- Support or run experience on SimCorp, CRD, Aladdin, Calypso or Finastra
- SQL and scripting skills
- Investment operations understanding
- Clear written communication with business users
- Improvement mindset rather than firefighting only
