What you would actually be doing.
The technical side of Calypso is deep and well paid for a reason. You extend the platform, build the interfaces and keep a demanding daily cycle running clean.
On a typical engagement
- Develop Calypso customisations, scheduled tasks and reports
- Build interfaces to trading, risk, accounting and market data systems
- Tune performance across the daily batch
- Support upgrades and environment work
- Fix production issues at the source
What you bring
- Java development plus Calypso platform experience
- SQL and integration skills
- Capital markets data and product understanding
- Upgrade or migration experience
- Good engineering habits: version control, tests, documentation
