The work
What you would actually be doing.
Collateral and clearing are where the regulators, the CCPs and the balance sheet all meet. You configure the margin and collateral machinery, connect the clearing flows and make the daily cycle reliable.
On a typical engagement
- Configure collateral management, margining and optimisation
- Deliver CCP and clearing broker connectivity and workflows
- Build the daily margin, dispute and settlement cycle
- Support regulatory change affecting collateral and clearing
- Test and take live with operations teams
What you bring
- Calypso collateral or clearing module depth
- Knowledge of margin methodologies and CCP processes
- Regulatory awareness (UMR, EMIR and similar)
- Operational process design skills
- Precision with daily cycles that cannot fail
