In the 1st Line Support role, your typical day involves providing technical support to both internal staff and external clients, ensuring the smooth operation of the digital asset securities exchange. You'll handle troubleshooting for Windows desktop environments, resolving issues via remote desktop applications and help desk software. You'll also manage service tickets, improve processes, and support various technical needs across global teams. Your day includes communicating with all levels of the business, tackling IT problems head-on, and continuously learning new skills to enhance the infrastructure team's efficiency.

 

For this 1st line support engineer role, you will need:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS, Linux, and Mac OS
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • General system administration skills (e.g., AV, monitoring tools, PBXs, firewalls, networking)
  • Networking knowledge
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, AWS, Cisco)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop OS
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop applications
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
