About the Role

Reporting directly to the CPO, you’ll oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration between product and technology teams. While this isn’t a purely technical role, you’ll need to understand software development and the intricacies of building complex trading platforms. You’ll help bridge the gap between tech and business, ensuring that product development is aligned with strategic goals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Product Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of innovative products, from SaaS solutions to trading platforms, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
• Tech-Driven Decision Making: Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and opportunities, ensuring solutions are both innovative and practical.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with the business, confidently challenging assumptions and driving the technology agenda.
• Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, researching new technologies and product ideas, and bringing fresh insights to the table.
• Problem Solving: Take ownership of complex product challenges, from ideation to execution, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Need

• Educational Background: A strong academic record with a degree in a relevant field is essential.
• Experience:
  • 10-15 years in financial markets, whether in crypto, capital markets, trading platforms, SaaS, or gambling.
  • Proven track record in leading product development in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
• Technical Understanding: While you don’t need to code, you must understand how software is built and be able to discuss technical concepts confidently.
• Passion for the Industry: An active interest in capital markets or crypto is key. Whether you’ve started a side project, attended industry conferences, or are constantly learning, they need someone who goes beyond the 9-5.
• Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders and confidently push back when needed.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Hands-on approach to problem-solving, with the ability to dive deep, research, and come back with actionable solutions.
