Job Description Up to £100k – Senior ML/AI Engineer – Hybrid (London) – Innovative B2B and B2C Fintech in the FX Industry

Background and Day-to-Day Duties:

This role will position you in the core of the company’s tech team, where you will harness your skills in ML and AI to develop, deploy, and maintain advanced solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, liaise with stakeholders, and have the autonomy to take the initiative in solving complex problems. Your primary focus will be on integrating AI technologies, refining existing machine learning models, and enhancing system capabilities to maintain peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and implement ML and AI models.
• Work extensively with AWS Bedrock and OpenAI API to create scalable AI solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML frameworks into the platform to support critical fintech services.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and system reliability.
• Drive the adoption of best practices for ML/AI model lifecycle management, from experimentation to deployment.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers, sharing knowledge, and guiding projects.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• Proven expertise in AWS Bedrock, OpenAI API, and experience with AI/ML model deployment.
• Extensive experience in Node.js.
• A strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services.
• Proficiency in setting up observability tools and protocols for mission-critical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It Would Be Extra Awesome If You Had:

• Prior experience in the fintech industry, particularly in FX or payment platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with data analytics tools and frameworks.
